Joan and I first met back in the early 70's when we both worked at Sears in Glen Burnie. I left Sears in 1975 but continued to see Joan sometimes.
Imagine my surprise when I was hired at MD Parking and saw her again after many years. Hugs and kisses and tears were exchanged as we were glad to see each other again. Each week as I was coming to work and she was leaving we would chat for a while and exchange books to read. I will miss her sweet face and loving demeanor. She was truly a great lady and will be missed.
Our faith in Jesus promises we will meet again and spend eternity together. I will see you soon Joan!
With much love, your friend Joycie

Deepest sympathy to all of Joan's family. She was a very special person to all of us at Fabric Chest --always smiling & always kind, positive & helpful. Her quilting skills were the best ; she inspired me all the time.
