Albert E. Rushforth Jr.

Albert E. Rushforth, Jr., 65, died after a 25-year courageous battle with cancer, on April 3, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He has been a resident of Severn, MD since 1980. Mr. Rushforth was born on September 21, 1943 in Rhode Island. He was career military serving in the US ARMY from 1963- 1983. Albert enjoyed building projects, electroncis, drawing, fishing, golfing, old cars and an all around Mr. Fix It. Albert is survived by his beloved wife Sandra L. (nee Shelton) Rushforth; loving children, Tiffeny E. McMillion and Brian A. Rushforth; dear sister, Sally Ann Palmer; and three grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, Ellen (nee McGowan) and Albert E. Rushforth, Sr.; son, Roy "Dusty" Rushforth and daughter, Brenda Anderson.
