God called Allen Edwards Anderson, 84, a longtime Pasadena resident, home on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He died peacefully under hospice care at his residence surrounded by his family. Allen was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 30, 1941, to William E. Anderson and Julia V. (Tolley) Anderson. Allen graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1959, and married his high school sweetheart in 1960. He learned the printing business from his father, a commercial printer, working for and alongside him. Later, Allen was a foreman for The Washington Post before he opened his own company, the Anderson Printing Corporation. He was a long time member of Granite Baptist Church where he established long lasting friendships, and grew his faith. When he wasn't busy with work, he enjoyed landscaping his yard, and being outside. He loved animals, woodworking, and staying busy. He will be missed by so many.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Anderson, Julia V. (Tolley) Anderson and his grandson, Mark Allen Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Anne (Cassell) Anderson of Pasadena; his son, Allen "Scott" Anderson (Rachel "Lynn") of Westminster; his daughter, Debra Lynn Revely (Claude) of Fredericksburg, VA; his 4 grandchildren; and his 5 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, April 14th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service to follow immediately at 12 p.m. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Allen's memory may be made to the amazing staff at Hospice of the Chesapeake.
