Angelo Victor Cortina

Angelo was born in Glen Burnie, MD on November 6, 1927 to Frank and Maria Rosa Cortina (nee Onorato) . A graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Mr. Cortina worked in the garment district in New York before returning to Glen Burnie to join his father in his shoe repair business. A veteran of the Army during WWII he was a member of St. Philip Neri Church. He loved music, coins and did volunteer work at Our Daily Bread in Baltimore. In addition to his parents Angelo is preceded in death by his brother August Cortina. He is survived by his brothers Frank, Joseph and Jack Cortina, all of Glen Burnie and sisters Gloria Laydani, Mary Dumsha, Frances Butz and Penny Houghton of Glen Burnie and Sandy Schlipoti and Jeannette McCauley of Baltimore.
