Anna M. Crawford

Born Anna M. Buenger in Baltimore, MD on December 25, 1927 to the late Leo & Wilhelmina Buenger (nee Bosse). Anna moved to the area from Baltimore in 1961. She worked as an administrator for many years. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. In her free time, Anna enjoyed going bowling, crocheting, playing pinochle and canasta but mostly spending time with her family. She also liked to take trips to Ocean City. Everyone who knew Anna knew how much she loved Christmas.

Mrs. Anna M. Crawford, 91, of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully on January 11, 2019 in her home. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years Charles William Crawford, Jr., who passed in in July 2018 and eight of her ten siblings. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Timothy W. Crawford, Sr. and his wife Sarah of Glen Burnie and Charles W. Crawford, III and his wife Sandy of Ellicott City; her grandchildren, Timothy W. Crawford, Jr., Christina M. Kent (Dan), Michelle A. Kafka, Michael Willis (Kelly) and Kevin Crawford; and her great grandchildren, Kirea, Jayden, Nathan, Joseph and Jameson. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Keller of Severn and brother Tony Buenger.

Friends may call on Monday, January 14 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy. S.E., Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on January 15 in Christ the King Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.,Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061. Interment will immediately follow in Glen Haven Mem. Pk.
