Anna M. Gettier

Anna M. Gettier, 94, died at her home on May 6, 2009 of natural causes.  She was a 45 year resident of Glen Burnie, MD. Anna was born on October 1, 1914 in Baltimore, MD.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and bowling.  Mrs. Gettier was a member of the Stoney Creek Democratic Club, Women of the Moose and Church of the Crucifixion. Survivors include her loving children, Robert R. Gettier of Glen Burnie, Barbara L. Meyers of Brooklyn Park, Shirley M. Akers of Glen Burnie, and Agnes R. Leister of Curtis Bay; dear sister, Jane Dominick of Baltimore; twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.  Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry R. Gettier; and parents, Barbara Mary (nee Armiger) and Howard I. Hunt.
