Anne M. Carr

Anne M. Carr, 73, long time Glen Burnie resident died July 22, 2015 in Hendersonville, TN. Anne was born January 7, 1942 to the late Melvin and Louise (Valeggie) Allen in Baltimore, MD. She worked as a Clerk at Two Guys Department Store but loved to fill her time being social at church. Anne was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church until she moved almost 3 years ago. She was a social butterfly at church and really enjoyed being with the members there. If it was not church then you may find her volunteering at one of the schools that her grandsons were attending; her true joy in life was her church and her grandchildren. Anne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dale J. Carr; daughter, Deborah Meyers and her husband John of Tennessee; brothers, Donald R. Allen and Ronald M. Allen; sister, Dorothy L. Tillery; grandsons, John C. Meyers and his wife Jamie and Lucas T. Meyers and great granddaughter, Ida Rae Meyers. Family and friends may gather Tuesday, 10am-12pm in St. Paul's Lutheran Church 308 Oak Manor Drive, Funeral Service to follow immediately. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
