She was born Annette Lee Lackey on February 5, 1952 in Baltimore, MD to the late Ernest and Lula Mae Guy Lackey. Mrs. Herman has lived in Queen Anne for the past 12 years, living for many years prior to that in Severn. She had several jobs during her working life, working for several year as a cashier in a grocery store. Annette was a graduate of Severna Park High School and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denton. In her spare time she enjoyed casino trips, playing computer games, her scratch offs and she was an avid reader of Scottish Highland romance novels. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her loving husband William J. Herman and a great-grandchild Theo Bissonette. Left to cherish her memory are her son William J. Herman, 2nd (Dawn) of Queen Anne, Jennifer M. Moore of Pasadena, brother Ernest Lackey (Martha) of Toms River, NJ and sister Linda Boone (Ronnie) of Holland, MI. She is also survived by cherished grandchildren Austin, Alaynee, Madison (Thad), Gracie, Elizabeth and Sarah as well as great-grandchild Denalia.
