Anthony M. Ruiz

Anthony Mario Ruiz was born February 8, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to the late Carlos and Yolanda Enriquez Ruiz.  He was a resident of Queenstown for the past 4 years after moving from Columbia, MD. Anthony had a career in sales in the printing industry during his working life. He also owned a snowball truck. He was a member of the Sons of the VFW in Laurel as well as the Moose Lodge in Queenstown. He enjoyed golf, live trivia, taking cruises, political discussions and he was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Rams.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ruiz is preceded by brothers Richard and Michael Ruiz. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Karen Stevens Ruiz of Queenstown, sons Anthony M. Ruiz, Jr. (Nikki) of Columbia, Robert Ruiz of Queenstown, Steven Ruiz (Jannette) of Washington, D.C., daughters Kristin Fitton (Thomas) of Millersville, and Nicole Ruiz of Queenstown.  He is also survived by brother Carlos Ruiz of Colorado, Nicholas Ruiz of Gaithersburg and cherished grandchildren Hannah, Emily and Kaitlyn Fitton. Anthony was brother in law to Mark Stevens (Kathryn),  Daniel Stevens (Lisa) and Michael Stevens (Erica)  He passed away peacefully at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Care Center of Hospice of the Chesapeake. Memorial contributions to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122 will be appreciated by the family.

Family and friends may gather at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Interment private.
