Azalia Elinore Thomas

Azalia Elinore (Krigger) Thomas AKA Zalie was born in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands on Tuesday, February 11, 1941, to Eric Valdemar Krigger, Sr. and Amanda Melvina (Martin) Robles. Azalia was named after the beautiful flowers that represented her personality - so sweet and so kind.

On Saturday, December 10, 2022, she was called home by God after a long courageous battle. She is survived by her children - Leroy Thomas, Jr., Frank Thomas, Sr., and Sherna Thomas; stepdaughter Debra Thomas Williams; her daughter-in-law - Natasha Thomas; many adopted sons and daughters; her ex-husband – Leroy Thomas, Sr; her siblings – Gertrude A. Robles Plaskett, Lucilla P. Robles Larsen (deceased), Leonel “Boysie” Robles, Jr., Eric V. Krigger, Jr., Denise E. Krigger and Valdemar E. Krigger; many nieces and nephews; many stepsisters and brothers; grandchildren – Leroy Thomas III (AKA Kelo), Keshma Thomas, Frank Thomas, Jr., Kalon Thomas, Isaiah Thomas, Olek Thomas, Alberto Leon A. Thomas, and Kaloni Thomas; great granddaughter – Ke’Aizha Thomas and many god children and close friends.

Services and interment will take place in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands on January 11, 2023 (more details will be provided).
