Barbara J. Fantauzzi

Born in Queens, NY, Barbara Jean Moultrie to her father, Marion Moultrie and late mother, Carrie Lewis Moultrie. She is preceded by her late sister, Monica Hawkins. She embraced the world with unwavering tenacity and a spirit that knew no bounds.

Barbara was not merely a woman; she was a force of nature—a relentless powerhouse who earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mercy University. Her journey led her to the halls of the New York City Department of Social Services as a devoted social worker.

As a lifelong resident of New York City, Barbara's roots ran deep, yet her heart found its home in upstate Hopewell Junction, NY, alongside her beloved husband. Together, they crafted a life filled with boundless love and shared passions. Barbara's zest for life was evident in her love for reading, camping, collecting crystals and stones, RVing adventures, DIY projects, and indulging in foreign TV shows.

Barbara's memory lives on in the hearts of those she held dear. Her cherished husband, Pedro J. Fantauzzi, and their children—Rashell Calinda Bailey, Regine Calinda, Faith Fantauzzi, Samantha Fantauzzi, and Andrés Fantauzzi—carry her legacy forward with pride.  She is also remembered by her brother, Derrick Moultrie. She adored her grandchildren, Matthew Calinda, King Kight, and Reign Kight. Barbara's spirit continues to shine brightly, a beacon of love and inspiration for generations to come.
