Goetz, Barbara
She was born Barbara Lines on July 17, 1938 in Gambrills, MD to the late Ruben Lines and Henrietta Zepp Wolf. Mrs. Goetz was a longtime resident of Pasadena. During her working life she was a mail clerk and receptionist for the MVA and the State Aviation Administration, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafts, music, reading, crocheting and she was a huge fan of Elvis. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband Frederick Goetz, step-daughter Christine M. Lynn, step-brothers Philip and Joseph Moreland, step-sisters Gertrude Tyler and Jaquelin Hardy and one grandson. Left to cherish her memory are son William F. Stivers, Jr. of Odenton, step-son Fred C. Goetz of NC, daughter Cindy M. Leake of Pasadena, ½ brother Monroe D. Lines of Glen Burnie. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 11am at the funeral home. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
