Barbara Ann Zimmerman

Born Barbara Ann Peacher on January 14, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to the late Joseph R. and Lucille C. Peacher (nee Jett) she lived in Linthicum since 1946. Mrs. Zimmerman is a 1955 graduate of Glen Burnie High School and she went on to the St. Agnes School of Nursing where she graduated in 1970. She worked as a nurse from 1970-1986. She also worked with her husband at their family business B&B Bus Lines until 1991. In her spare time Barbara enjoyed Gardening, seeing stage shows, travel, trips to Florida. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her husband Robert L. "Bob" Zimmerman, Sr., Sister Carol May Claxton and her infant daughter Nancy Lee Zimmerman. She is survived by her children Roberta Ann Amrhein of Linthicum, Leslie Carson Kane of North Linthicum, Robert L. Zimmerman, Jr. of Brooklyn, Laurie Evelyn Rice of Oregon, Charles Edward Zimmerman, Sr. of Baltimore & Richard Morgan Zimmerman of Linthicum as well as brother William D. Elseroad of Glen Burnie and sister Betty Lou Williams of Glen Burnie. Mrs. Zimmerman is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
