Barry "Rick" Fredrick Bartels

Barry "Rick" Fredrick Bartels was born on Tuesday, November 23, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland to Barry Francis Bartels and Carol Ann (Baumes) Brothers. Rick grew up in Gamber, Carroll County and moved to Glen Burnie in 2005.  He was a volunteer for the Gamber Fire Department and the Team Leader for working with veterans through The Home Depot programs; where he was employed as Assistant Store Manager. He loved fishing, trains, Gettysburg, history and collecting memorabilia of anything sports related. Being outdoors was something else he loved; playing with the kids and grandkids, sharing candy and wrestling. He will be greatly missed by so many.

Rick is preceded by his parents; step-father, Calvin Warren Brothers. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Lynn (Jones) Bartels of Glen Burnie, Maryland; children, Kera Lynn Jefcoat (Joseph) of Lavale, Maryland, Kaitlyn Marie Crabtree (Kevin) of Oldtown, Maryland, Tyler John Bartles of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Annabella Grace Bartels of Glen Burnie, Maryland; siblings, John "Jay" Bartels (Alisha), Jenny Cason (Henry); grandchildren, Layton Jaxen Jefcoat, Parker Alan Jefcoat, Karaline Crabtree, Alison Crabtree and Blake Crabtree.
