On March 9, 2023, Beatrice C. Maloney (Lankford), 95, formerly from Morrell Park, a current a resident of Glen Burnie since 1981, died peacefully at Inspirations Memory Care in Linthicum, Maryland. Beatrice was born on Wednesday, May 4, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland to Margaret (McGinnis) and D`Este Lankford. She graduated from Seton High School in 1945 and worked for the Carr Lowery Glass Company as a packer on the floor then promoted to a clerk typist.. Beatrice enjoyed duckpin bowling, watching her soaps cooking shows and game shows. She was an avid Orioles fan, her favorite was left fielder BJ Surhoff. Fondly called GG or Mom by family and friends, she loved to cook. Her specialty’s were Lima bean soup and  the BEST mashed potatoes ever!

Beatrice is preceded by her parents, D`Este Lankford and Margaret (McGinnis) Lankford, her husband; Frederick Andrew Maloney; her son in law, Scott M. Barr and her siblings; Margaret Widerman, Charles Lankford, John Lankford and Leona Lietner. She is survived by her children, Frederick Maloney (Nancy) of Linthicum, William Maloney (Mary) of Virginia and Caroline Barr of Glen Burnie; sister, Leona; grandchildren, Megan Henry and Maggie Maloney; great grandchildren, Jewel Maloney, Lilliana Henry, Charlotte Henry, Tristen Anderson and great -great grandchild Theo Gutermuth.

Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
