Bernard Cohen

Mr. Bernard Cohen was born in Baltimore on July 1, 1942 to the late Robert E. and Margaret A. Cohen (Williams). Bernard worked for the Department of Highways in Baltimore. In his free time Bernard enjoyed playing softball, he was in the South Baltimore Softball Hall of Fame, playing cards, and taking casino trips. Anyone who knew him would tell you Christmas was his favorite time of year.

Mr. Bernard Cohen passed away peacefully  in St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home in Baltimore on January 27, 2021. In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his brothers Walter and Raymond Cohen. Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Matti Benton, brothers Robert E. Cohen, Jr. of Parkville and Donald Cohen of Bel Air, sister Mary Hoffman of Ferndale, ten nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and nephews. Due to the current COVID restrictions the family will be celebrating his life privately.
