Betty K. Brumwell

On December 17 after suffering a brief illness, Betty Brumwell (nee Kelly) went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus. She was born June 30, 1927, In Harlan County Kentucky, to the late Matilda and John Kelly. She lost her mom at age 9.

Betty was very humble, gracious and very soft hearted. She loved beyond measure all her children. She was a loving wife to her deceased husband, Royal. She leaves behind her children Yvonne, Carl, Janice, Keith, Rochelle, Doug, Deneen, Glenn, and their spouses (Kevin, Cheri, Kenny, Rich) and her stepchildren Royal, Bonnie, Wayne and their families. She loved and adored her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty loved to read her Bible, bake, cook, and had an uncanny ability at raising flowers and vegetables. She was warm to strangers and sponsored many young children overseas. Betty was a member of Calvary Church in Glen Burnie Md.

Betty came to accept the free gift of eternal life in her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ on September 5, 1983.  Her favorite Bible verse that she would quote with reference was “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

She will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
