She was born Betty J. Heaps in Baltimore, MD on October 1, 1925 to the late Aaron W. and  Amanda Dell Heaps.  A longtime resident of Glen Burnie, she moved to Delaware in the 1980’s and returned to Glen Burnie in 2012. Mrs. Dease was a homemaker and a member of the Ladie’s Aux. of the American Legion. She enjoyed line dancing and music; she played the piano and the organ.  Betty was also an avid gardener.  In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband Charles H. Dease, her son William H. Dease, her sister Dolores Davis and a grandson David Dease. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Terri Skipper (Joe) of Glen Burnie, grandchildren Gregory and Jeffrey Skipper, 5 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
