Betty Jo Ekstrom

Born Betty Jo Williams in Virginia to the late Elbert and Mamie Macmillan Williams and she was a longtime resident of Maryland. She retired as a clerk for Southern States Company.  An active member of Faith Baptist Church, who cherished her faith and her church family.  She enjoyed quilting with the ladies of the church and was talented in many areas of needlecraft. Betty was an avid reader who also enjoyed Hallmark movies and her favorite shows.  She treasured time spent with her family.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother and her beloved husband James F. Ekstrom who passed away in 2003. Left to cherish her memory are her son Michael J. Ekstrom (Nelda) of New Park, PA, daughter Kimberly A. Fenzel (David) of Pasadena, sister Mary Harwell of Glen Burnie, grandchildren Lisa Leroy (Chris), Brian Ekstrom, Kyle, Zachary and Rebecca Fenzel as well as great-grandchild Landon Leroy.  Memorial Contributions to Faith Baptist Church, 7378 E. Furnace Branch Rd., Glen Burnie, MD 21060 will be appreciated by her family.
