Betty L. Hawkins

Born Betty Lou Eye in Baltmore, MD September 26, 1954 to Clyde Russell Eye and Shirley Eye (nee Sowers) She lived in Laurel for many years prior to moving to Glen Burnie in the mid eighties. She worked as a Technician for Baxter Pharmaceuticals in Jessup. A member of North Arundel Church and the Ladies Aux. of American Legion Post #60 in Laurel. Her hobbies included playing bingo and taking trips with her husband on her Honda Goldwing Motorcycle. Betty is survived by her husband Edward W. Hawkins and daughter Heather M. Hawkins of Glen Burnie, Step-children Edward W. Hawkins, Jr. of West Virginia, Tommy R. Hawkins, Sr. of Seatle, Washington and Jackie L. Gardner of Kent Island, MD. She is also survived by sisters Linda and Sue Eye of Orlando, FL brother Clyde R. Eye, Jr. of Glen Burnie and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her brother Ronald Eye. She passed away peacefully at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after suffering for many years with lung problems.
