Betty M. Schemm

Born Betty M. Bowman in Severna Park, MD on August 24, 1933 to Ellis L. and Lillian Bowman (nee Krath). She lived in Northern Anne Arundel County all of her life. A 1952 graduate of Glen Burnie High School, she retired as a Data Compiler for Westinghouse in Linthicum. She was a member of Glen Burnie United Meth. Ch. She enjoyed sewing, reading, word search puzzles, travel, but the center of her life was her family. A family member said she made everyone feel like family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William M. Schemm. Betty is survived by her children William C. Schemm and his wife, Joann of Ellicott City, David W. Schemm and his wife, Rose of Halethorpe, Barbara E. Wilson and her husband, Jeff of Thomasville, PA and her sister Dorothy Ripple of Glen Burnie. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She passed away at University of MD Medical Center.
