Billy L. Parton

Billy L. Parton, 81, died on June 2, 2010 at AAMC.  Billy was a resident of the Millersville area for over 50 years.  He was born on May 18, 1929 in West Virginia.Billy worked in Security for MAIF before retiring.  He was a member of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church, American Legion and Special Police of AA Co. for 17 years.  Billy enjoyed singing, playing guitar, computers, and traveling.  He was especially known for his corny jokes. Billy's survivors are his beloved wife, Irene M. Parton; son, Paul Parton of Falmouth, VA; daughters, Sharon Parton and Terry Garrity, both of Glen Burnie; step-children, Stephen Davenport of Whitemarsh, Michael Davenport of Millersville, Cindy Kerig of Leonardtown, and Darren Davenport of CA; sister Janet Lawson of WV; Ten Grandchildren and One Great-grandchild.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Parton; daughter, Deborah Soutar; and parents, William Bernard Parton and Ruth (nee Starcher) McNeely.
