Bobbie Ruth Adams (Davidson), 91, Jessup resident, died peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Bobbie was born on Monday, February 22, 1932, in Rural, Tennessee, to William Thomas and Evo Lena (Larkin) Davidson. In the early 1940's, Bobbie's family left Tennessee, her in a rumble seat with her siblings and animals (the cows), making their way to Maryland. She met the love of her life, Cecil Rhodes Adams, and married him on July 25, 1953; a family came shortly after. Bobbie loved to put puzzles together, watch Daytime TV and her westerns. She enjoyed being with her kids and every weekend one of them would come and stay with her; they all rotated taking care of her. Ms. Jean Burrell first started as her caretaker during the week, but they quickly became great friends, Bobbie's "bestie", and was welcomed as one of the family. Family was very important to her, and she always wanted to be surrounded by them, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobbie made the best Chicken and Dumplings, but you also would see her eating her favorite, a simple PBJ, Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich. She will be greatly missed.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents; William Thomas Davidson and Evo Lena (Larkin) Davidson; husband, Cecil Rhodes Adams, Sr.; her siblings, Lena Blanche Faudree, James Elcer Davidson, Thomas J. Davidson, Walter C. Davidson, Joe Lee Davidson, Bill Alvia Davidson and Ronald C. Davidson; her son-in-law, Roger Dennis "Denny" Sullivan; and her daughter-in-law, Maria Adams. She is survived by her children, Marlene A.
