Bonnie Jean Andersen

On September 9, 2011, Bonnie Jean Andersen of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 75. Beloved wife of 54 years to Robert (Bob) G. Andersen; Devoted mother of Scott R. Andersen and his wife Lorine of Millersville, Katherine Hart and her husband Millard Jr. of Glen Burnie, Vickie Stephens and her husband Mike of Florida, Cyndie Friese and her husband Mark of Riva and Carole Clapsaddle and her husband Charles of York, PA; Loving sister of Richard C. Hult and his wife Laurel of Illinois; Adoring grandmother of 8. Bonnie was born in Chicago, Illinois and has lived in Glen Burnie since 1971. She attended the Institute of Art while in Chicago. She worked over 20 years as a church secretary and was a very active member of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. She served the members of Job's Daughters as Grand Guardian from 1984 to 1985. She volunteered with the Red Cross and the U.S.O at BWI. Bonnie was also a lifetime member of the Odenton chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed being a member of the Maryland Mobileers Amateur Radio Club. Being artistic, Bonnie enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts and was a talented painter. She was an avid camper and enjoyed the times she spent camping with her family. Most especially, Bonnie loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
