Born Brenda Sherion Reedy on April 16, 1943 in Virgina to the late Karl and Emma Reedy. Mrs. Cook has been a resident of Glen Burnie for over 50 years.
In her free time she
enjoyed traveling, crocheting, playing bingo and baking, she was especially famous for her key lime coconut cake.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband of 16 years Dennis Cook, her son Mark Reedy and his wife Jennifer, step-daughter Angela Barnes and her husband Stephen, siblings Carolyn Ancuta and husband Gigi, Libby Hafer and husband Randy, Carla McClain and husband Bill, grandchildren Amber Tankus, Karlee, Brandon, Andrew and Jordyn Reedy, great-grandchildren Joseph Asquith, III and Coraline Tankus, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her her sister, Freida Campbell, and brothers Junior and Glenn Reedy.
Mrs. Cook passed away peacefully at Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crownsville on July 19, 2017.
