Bruce Francis Perry was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 2, 1959 to Warren Ellis and Agnes T. ( Chucoski ) Perry. Bruce was a Resident Maintenance Engineer for the State Highway Administration Glen Burnie maintenance shop in Anne Arundel County. In 1979, Bruce began working for the S HA at the old Southern Avenue garage. He became a member of the District 5 family in 1985, when he joined the Glen Burnie shop as their shop chief. In October of 2007, he was promoted to the office manager position at Glen Burnie. When Bruce was not working or fixing things, he enjoyed camping in his RV , playing softball, being surrounded by his friends and dogs and being involved with the Boy Scout Troop 550. He loved going to the OC car shows with his custom built red E uro S port VR 454 and eating good meals, with lots of beef. He was a joy to be around and will be missed by so many.
Bruce is preceded by his parents, Warren Ellis Perry and Agnes T. ( Chucoski ) Perry and his sisters, Bonnie Fuhrman and Barbara We r t h . He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Stafford) Cone; his children, Jennifer Perry, Nicholas Perry and Timothy Perry and his stepchildren, Caroline Cone and Robert W. Cone, Jr.
A memorial gathering will be Saturday, February 5th, 11am - 1pm at the funeral home. Memorial service to begin at 1pm. Interment private.
