Catherine V. Gaither

On April 27, 2010, Catherine V. Gaither passed away at home of natural causes. She was 86. Born on January 3, 1924 in Baltimore County, she currently lived in Taneytown and had previously lived in Glen Burnie. Beloved wife of the late Wilmer C. Gaither; Devoted mother of Linda J. Miller of Taneytown and Sharon I. Gibbs of Vero Beach, Florida; Cherished grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Florence Atkins.  Catherine was a longtime member of Messiah UMC and was active with their crafts group and widows group.  She enjoyed reading and walking.  Catherine also liked baseball and was very talented at crafts and sewing.
