Born Catherine V. Voelkel in Baltimore, MD on March 19, 1923 to Henry and his wife Viola Voelkel (nee Mummert) she lived in Baltimore before moving to Glen Burnie in 1940. A print circuit worker with Westinghouse in Linthicum, she retired in 1986 after 17 years of service. Catherine was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and a Member of the Bodkin Yacht Club Aux. for 48 Years as well as being a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Ch. in Baltimore. She enjoyed sewing, boating, shopping, cruising the Islands with family and friends and playing Bingo in her spare time. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her husband of 62 years Francis Earl Lambert, Sr. who died in 2005. She is survived by her son Francis Earl Lambert, Jr. of Glen Burnie and his wife Virginia. She passed away peacefully at Glen Burnie Health & Rehabilitation Center after being in declining health for several years.
