Catherine Anna Shupe, 93 resident of Glen burnie passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, surrounded by her dear family.
Catherine was born on Tuesday June 2, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph and mollie (wells) Pfisterer. Catherine was a homemaker and married to the love of her life Clifford Shupe Sr. She was a loving mother to Carol Miller and late husband Bob, Eugene Shupe and wife Rhonda, Gina Schnauffer and Husband David, and her late son Clifford Shupe, Jr. She was a cherished grandmother of the late Robert Miller and the late David Shupe, Marnie Schwartz, Chris Shupe and wife Sabrina, Brandi Schmitt and husband Matthew, David Jr Schnauffer and wife Sarah and, Courtney Chambers and Husband Nicholas. She was also a great grandmother and a great great grandmother of many.
Catherine enjoyed watching her westerns and all in the family sitcom. Catherine was extremely feisty and could dance the jitterbug until she couldn’t. Anyone that knows her knows she would often be heard singing “pigs town” anthem. Her feisty spirit and the love she had for her family will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Friday, March 7th, 11am - 1pm. Funeral service to follow immediately at 1pm. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
