Celeste T. Kenny

Celeste T. Kenny, 54, of Glen Burnie, died on August 11, 2009 of natural causes at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.  Celeste was born on April 19, 1955 in Baltimore, MD.  She was a nurse for over 20 years at Spring Grove State Hospital and Crownsville.  Celeste earned a BS degree from UMAB.  She loved camping, the beach and yard Sales. Her family was her life.  She loved watching her grandson, spending time and taking care her family and others. Survivors include her loving mother, Mary Dorothy (nee Henneman) Kenny of New Winsor, MD; her beloved companion, Robert Simmons of Glen Burnie; loving sons, Bobby Binko of Stewartstown, PA; Jacob Smith of Glen Burnie, Luke B Simmons of Glen Burnie, Dominic Simmons of Glen Burnie; and her loving niece & nephews who she raised, Christopher, Casey, and Corey Parce all of Glen Burnie, MD; dear brothers, Charles Bruce Kenny of Baltimore, James Kenny of Greenwich, Conn., and Joesph Kenny of Hanover, PA; dear sister, Catherine McQueeney of Nebraska; and grandson, Brandon L. Simmons.  She was predeceased by her sister Carol Parce; father, William Kenny and her birth mother, Celeste J. (nee Filip) Kenny.
