Charles "Sonny" Pumphrey

Charles William Pumphrey passed away on September 29, 2011 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Ruth R.(nee Hall) Pumphrey; Devoted father of 2 sons, Charles F. Pumphrey of Glen Burnie and Michael D. Ryan of Lutherville; 3 daughters, Karen Disming of Gambrills, Kathy Pisciotti of Pueblo, CO and Lee Anne Brown of Castle Rock; Loving Grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 3 Great-Granchildren. Sonny enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and crabbing. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose, American Legion 276 and the Nomad Hunting Club. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Crownsville Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at 10 A.M.
