Charlie was born in Washington DC on October 26,1946. After high school he joined the Air Force and was in the service from 1964 to 1970, when he was discharged. That same year he moved to Baltimore where he lived the rest of his life. He went to college at the University of Baltimore and received a bachelor's degree in statistics. His hobbies included reading Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler novels and building plastic model kits. Charlie wasn't a rich man, but he was very generous. Each month he donated to many charities, and he was happy to help people in need. He is proceeded in death by his parents Gloria A. Scott, and Charles W. Scott. He is survived by his brother Stephen Scott, with wife Shirley, and their son Gideon, his sister Ann Nolan, with her husband Timothy, and their sons Douglas, with his wife Connie and their daughter Vivienne, William with his wife Jamie, and Steven with his wife Mari. Charlie is also survived by his aunts, Mary Ellen Merchlinsky and Rosemary DeRogatis, along with many cousins.
