Charles William Sechrist, Jr.

Charles William (Bill) Sechrist, Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday, July 31, 1946, to Charles William Sechrist, Sr. and Beverly Ann (Martin) Sechrist. Charles graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1964 and began working for the Social Security Administration, where he was employed as a Systems Analyst for over 30 years. He was dedicated to his faith, most recently with Calvary Baptist Church in Westminster and Anchor Baptist Church in Pasadena (where he was often found decorating the church for holidays and other special services). Charles loved listening to organ, sacred and classical music and enjoyed playing the organ as well. He loved Christmas and enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to amusement parks with his wife, Nancy, and her family. He was a history buff, liked talking to people, and had a quick wit as well as a delightful sense of humor. He will be missed by so many.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Lorain (Wagner) Sechrist, and her family.

Visitation and Interment are private.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 12, 2022, 11:00 AM at the Anchor Baptist Church.
