Charles C. Shaffer
March 4, 1922 — January 14, 2014
Charles C. Shaffer passed away on January 14, 2014. Born in Baltimore to the late William C. and Matilda (Nee Tolle) Shaffer. Charles was a member of the Brooklyn Park Methodist Church, VFW Post 61 and the American Legion #40. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, boating, living near the water and especially loved spending time with his family. Mr. Shaffer is survived by his son, Charles W. Shaffer of Pasadena; daughter, Bonnie L. Slater of Glen Burnie; brother, Vernon Shaffer of Westminster; sister, Lorraine Bull; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Shaffer (Nee Hall) and 1 great grandchild.
