Claude A. Lyons

Claude A. Lyons, 83, passed away at the University of Maryland Medical Center on February 15, 2011. Claude had been a resident of Glen Burnie, MD for 70 years. He was born in New York on June 3, 1927 to his parents, the late Elsie (nee Hillis) and Miles Lyons.  Mr. Lyons served in the US Navy in Korea and worked as a Stationary Engineer for the Federal Government before retiring. He enjoyed woodworking, models, and ship reunions of the USS.  Claude was a member of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his loving children, Gloria J. Lyons of Glen Burnie and Robert W. Lyons of Glen Burnie: dear sisters, Dorothy Merlin and Elsie Taylor; Five Grandchildren and one Great-grandchild.  He is predeceased by his beloved wife, D. Lorraine Lyons and brothers, Buddy and Billy Lyons.
