Claudette Joan Harris

Claudette Joan Harris passed away at home at the age of 73. Beloved wife of John Harris for 47 years; Loving mother of Julia Black and her husband Robert and John Harris Jr.; Cherished grandmother of Robbie, Michael and Susan Black.  She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Lydia Hudak and her brother, Gene.

Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Claudette lived in Millersville for 47 years. She attended Peabody in Chicago and Misericordia College in Pennsylvania - Class of 1957.  Claudette worked as a teacher and substitute teacher for Old Mill and Anne Arundel County until retiring in 1989.  She loved singing and music. Claudette also enjoyed reading and cooking.  Most especially, she loved to spend time with her family and her dog Peppy.
