Colleen D. Robinson

Colleen Robinson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 65 years old.

Born on March 20, 1960, Colleen lived a life centered on love—especially for her family, who brought her the greatest joy. Her heart was most full when she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and loved ones, and her fierce spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Colleen was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Sara Robinson, and her first husband, Mike Robinson. She carried their memories with her every day and found comfort and strength in her deep belief in angels—believing they were never far from her side. In recent years, she found love and companionship again with her devoted husband, Kenneth Kiessling, who brought renewed light into her life.

She is survived by her loving son, Eric Robinson, and his wife Kristy; her treasured grandchildren: Sara and Finn Robinson, Sophia Nobile, Annabel, Caroline, and Charlotte Caban; Ceci and Christian Boling; and Camden and Anderson Kiessling. She is also survived by her devoted brothers Sean Colburn, Bruce Colburn, and Dave Colburn, and a large extended family who will miss her dearly.

Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and open arms. She had a gift for making those around her feel seen, supported, and loved—and her faith and belief in the presence of angels gave comfort not only to herself, but to those she cared for.

A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with family and friends.

Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, July 20th, 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Service will be at 7:30pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Colleen’s memory may be made to the Boumi Shrine, an organization close to her heart.
