Daniel Edward Sloat was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday, September 23, 1949 to the late Clarence Guerney and Florence May (Killman) Sloat. Daniel moved from Pennsylvania about 6 years ago and made Cockeysville his home. He was a factory worker for Proctor and Gamble for many years. Daniel loved pigs, monkeys, gorillas, playing checkers and tic tac toe and was a silly guy; a big kid at heart. A quiet, simple man, who loved the color black and had a nickname for everyone. He was religious and faithful, often reading the bible daily; a creature of habit. He will sorely be missed by many.
Daniel is survived by his children, Lori Anne Foxwell (Lurman) of Rockville, Christine Elizabeth Puentes (Andy) of Ft. Worth, Texas, Keith Daniel Sloat of Baltimore and Sheena Danielle Sloat of Pennsylvania; dear brother, David Sloat of Baltimore and grandfather of 8.
