Darlene L. (Bryant) Young, 75, Pasadena resident, died peacefully under hospice care surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Darlene was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on Monday, July 4, 1949, to John Albert and Katherine Joan (Collins) Bryant. She grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1967. Darlene was a secretary for Valley Proteins in her earlier years and has been retired for almost 20 years now. She loved the beach, especially going on vacations in North Carolina at Hatteras Island with her family. She absolutely adored her family and when they all gathered together, it brought her so much joy. Darlene was a very private person but was very loving and really enjoyed taking care and looking after her grandchildren. Everyone loved her cooking, especially her vegetable and bean soup. The immense love for her family and her presence will be greatly missed in the years to come.
Darlene is preceded by her parents, John Albert and Katherine Joan (Collins) Bryant. She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael A. Young of Pasadena; her loving children, Robert Francis Pawliske (spouse) Kerry Pawliske of Hampstead and Kimberly Dawn Watts (spouse) Vincent Watts of Pasadena; her very loving family; Marianne Clawson, Laura and Dustin Kemplin her loving grandchildren, Rachel Jo Hannah Pyle (spouse) Brandon Pyle, Vincent Paul Watts, Jr., Catherine Claire Pawliske, Robert Samuel Pawliske and Thomas Croke and her bonus grandchildren, Finley Kemplin and Isla Kemplin.
