David Hugh Mace

David Hugh Mace, 83, resident of Glen Burnie, died February 24, 2015. David was born February 26, 1931 to the late Earl Mace and the late Florence (Smith) Mace in Rockford, Illinois. He worked driving a truck doing sales calls and finally retired in 2005. He had fun playing the lottery and going to the horse track. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul that went without for those he loved and will never forget his love for hot dogs. He is preceded by his parents, siblings and one child, Suzie Mace. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara (Simaitis) Mace; children, Chris Mace and his wife Theresa of Parkville, Diane Ogarzelek and her husband Mike of Delaware and Kimberly Vigil Lubinski and her husband Brian, Jr. of Glen Burnie; grandchildren, Michelle Ogarzelek, Michael Vigil, Jr., Cody D. Vigil, Amanda Vigil and step grandchildren, Eric, Jr., Jewel, Brian, Jr. and Jessica.
