David William Thomas

David William Thomas died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

David was born at Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George's County, Maryland on Friday, December 31, 1982 to John Bruce and Bonnie Lorraine (Thompson) Thomas.

He graduated from Meade High School where he played basketball and ran track. David was a Boy Scout and enjoyed playing all sports growing up. He was a lifelong WWE fan and loved watching wrestling. His "team" was the Dallas Cowboys and he never missed a game!

David is preceded by his father, John Bruce Thomas; his grandparents, Priscilla and William McMillian, and Ruby Thomas; his uncle, David William Eugene Thompson and his aunt Dorothea Green. He is survived by his mother Bonnie Lorraine Thomas (Rich); his brother John G. Thomas; his stepdaughters, Finley and Grace; his grandfathers, Kenneth Thompson of Virginia and Gordon Thomas of Virginia; his uncles, Stewart Thomas (Kathy) of Virginia, Craig Thomas of Virginia, Wesley Thompson (Joyce) of Virginia; aunts, Shannon Hardy (Greg) of Colorado, Roxanna Johnson of Illinois, Elana Schlichting of Illinois, Donna Frazer (Russell) of Illinois; also survived by several cousins and other family members.

Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Friday, 3pm - 7pm. Funeral service begins at 6pm. Interment private cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
