Born Deborah Jean Peterson in Baltimore, MD on April 11, 1955 to Arvin E. and Sara Jane Peterson (nee McGraw). She lived in many locations during her lifetime but settled in Brooklyn Park 28 years ago. Mrs. Lavilla was an Insurance Agent with Gebco Insurance. In her spare time she enjoyed Cooking, trips to the beach, road trips to visit friends and playing the slots. She was a longtime member of Martini Lutheran Ch. in Baltimore. In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by brothers Robert McGraw, John and Donald Peterson and her daughter Tamara Lavilla. She is survived by her soulmate Gaudwin Y. Crispino, II, her husband Paul Lavilla of Rockville, children Leilani Felicitas of Rosedale, Paulina Lavilla-Slemp of Brooklyn Park. Stepchildren Joshua Shortlidge, Richard Manis, Darone, Jeremy and Justin Crispino, all of Baltimore. She is also survived by brother William Dean and his wife Ruth of Crownsville, Annetta Buchal & Harriett Jackson of Brooklyn Park and Mary Carpenter of Alabama, nieces, Tracey, Sharon, Terri, Meletta, Carmin, and Angel, nephews, Scott, Dennis, Dan, and Chris as well as grandchildren Mariah, Alexis and Jayven Santos, Tristan Lavilla-Smith and Sage Crispino. Son-In-Laws, Ryan Slemp and Ben Santos, daughter-in-law Sheryce Crispino. She passed away at Harbor Hospital Center on October 28, 2015 surrounded by her family. Friends and family may call at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy., S.E., Glen Burnie on Sat., October 31, 2015 & Sun., November 1st from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 2nd at 11:00 A.M.
