Digno Ramon Yorro passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on February 17, 2016. Born in Puerto Rico to the late Digno and Ana (Nee Rodriguez) Yorro. Digno was retired from the United States Coast Guard after 30 years of honorable service, and an Active Federal Employee with the Coast Guard. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing sports and was an avid sports fan especially for the N.Y Yankees and N.Y Giants. He was a member of the American Legion and the Cross of the Path Church. Digno is survived by his wife of 40 years, Valentina Yorro; daughters, Shirley A. Yorro of Fairfield, CT, Gloria E. Senn of Danvers, MA; son, Digno R. Yorro, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD; sisters, Maria D. Yorro-DeLeon of Bronx, NY, Lydia Rivera of Puerto Rico, Sylvia Rivera of FL; brother, Ralph Rivera of Fl, and 5 grandchildren, Stephen Sevastos, Lucas Sevastos, Seanna Senn, Ethan Senn and Raychel Yorro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may call at the family – owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A. on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 5-9 P.M. Funeral Service to be held at the funeral home on Tuesday the 23rd 10:00 A.M. Interment in Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery to follow service.
