Unexpectedly on Thursday, January 23, 2025, Dominador Aquino Padilla, 79, Glen Burnie resident, died peacefully in his home with his wife by his side.
Dominador was born on Monday, September 10, 1945, in the Philippines, to Esmeraldo and Maria (Aquino) Padilla. He graduated from St. Louis University. Dominador came to the United States in 1983 and worked for the Naval Academy. He was a very dedicated worker and often held two jobs at the same time, which was a normal workload for him. He was a very proud father and his values of hard work and perseverance are exemplified through his children. When he was not working, he enjoyed going to the casino or watching sports, as well as any show on the Filipino channel. The love he had for his family will always be cherished.
Dominador is preceded by his parents, Esmeraldo and Maria (Aquino) Padilla; his siblings, Jose Aquino Padilla, Sarah Padilla Guerrero, and Lenora Aquino Padilla. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresita (Manzanilla) Padilla of Glen Burnie; his children, Harold Manzanilla Padilla (Jessica) of Annapolis, Shivanee Padilla Moberly (Austin) of Pylesville, Rizza Manzanilla Padilla of Pembroke Pines, Mark Manzanilla Padilla of Annapolis; stepson, Gary Lomibao Manzanilla (Norma) of Toronto; his sisters, Estrellita Padilla, Violeta Deleon, and Felicitas Mendilla; sister-in-law, Norma Padilla; grandson, Austin Dominador Moberly, and step-granddaughter, Tefia Biares Manzanilla.
Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 10:30am - 12:30pm. Funeral service to follow immediately, 12:30pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
