Donald Robert Bennett

Donald Robert Bennett was born October 25, 1938 to the late Earl and Ethel Bennett. A resident of Glen Burnie, Mr. Bennett made his career as a truck driver. In his free time he enjoyed stock car racing and football. His family fondly remembers him as a hard worker with a great sense of humor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter Donna Lee Bennett, siblings Gloria Jean Hurd, and William Bennett.Left to cherish his memory is his wife Loretta Bennett, children Robert Donald Bennett, Jr., Terry Ferguson, Patrick Bennett, Valerie Haack, Amy Bennett, siblings George Earl Bennett, Earlene Bull, and Nancy Lee Bennett. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bennett passed away May 23, 2020 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 10am-12:30pm at Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home followed by a private funeral service and interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park. Due to current restrictions 10 visitors at a time will be permitted in the building.
