Donald Roy Halas

Donald Roy Halas was born October 23, 1930 to the late Alexander and Katherine Halas. Mr. Halas proudly served in the U.S. Army, and made his career as a financial agent for the state of Maryland. In his free time he was an avid softball player, he played for 50 years, was inducted into the Anne Arundel County Hall of Fame for softball, and also played softball in the senior olympics.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years Margaret Halas, children Donald Terence Halas, Donna Melora Reaves, Michele Dawn Seitler, grandchildren Nicholas T. Halas, Kaitlyn Reaves, Emma Reaves, and great grandchildren Nicholas, Jr. and Mariah.

Mr. Halas passed away December 29, 2018 at his home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His family will celebrate services privately.
