Donald W. Moats

Mr. Donald Wesley Moats was born in Baltimore, MD on October 16,1947 to the late Mr. Harry C. Moats and Mrs. Martha V. Moats (nee Poling). Mr. Donald Moats was a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1966. He spent several years working as a cabinet maker. Mr. Donald worked for and retired from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education as a roving custodian. He enjoyed Nascar, football and some baseball. Mr Donald Moats passed away peacefully on September 24, 2018 at University Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He leaves behind Mrs. Pamela Moats, his loving wife of 46 years, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call 10 AM - 12 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 with services at 12 PM at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy. S.E., Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Additional services will be held at 11 AM - 1 PM on Tuesday, October 2 with service at 1 PM at Stemple and Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main St., Philippi, WV 26416. The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
