Donald Lee Watson

Donald (Don) L. Watson 80, a lifelong Glen Burnie resident was welcomed into heaven by His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 28, 2017. Don was born on December 23, 1936 and was the youngest of the 4 children of Herman E. Watson. He leaves behind the love of his life of 61 years, Rusty. Together they raised three children, Donna, Phil (deceased), and Paula. Don spent the last 40 years enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Throughout his life in addition to being a devoted family man, Don also enjoyed traveling, sports, especially bowling, and was involved in all of his children and grandchildren’s activities including managing numerous little league teams. In addition to his soul mate and best friend, Don is survived by his daughters, Donna Campbell, Paula Hose and their spouses Bob and Jim; his grandchildren Matt Albrecht, Jessica Zimmerman and their spouses Julie and Josh; and the greatest joy of his life his great grandchildren Brayden and Zaine Albrecht; Ashley and Dylan Zimmerman.

A Memorial gathering will be held 10-11am, Thursday, May 4, 2017 with a celebration of life beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Tate Cancer Center at BWMC.
