Doris E. Pratt

Born Doris E. Gregory in Baltimore to the late Howard E. and Anna Gregory (nee Sauer) and a resident of Glen Burnie for the past 70 Years. Mrs. Pratt was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling, especially to Hawaii, but the center of her life was caring for her family. She was a member of Christ Lutheran-Light Street and the Ferndale Road Runners.

Mrs. Doris E. Pratt passed away peacefully at Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Care Center on January 24, 2021. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband Chester L. Pratt, Sr., son Timothy Paul Pratt, brother Robert Gregory and sisters Anna Stidham, Marguerite Buser and Arvella Roberts.  Left to cherish her memory are son Rusty Pratt, Jr. of New Freedom, PA and wife Paula, daughter-in-law Brenda Pratt of Glen Burnie, seven grandchildren as well as fifteen great-grandchildren with another on the way.

Friends may call on the family from 10 AM – 12 PM on Wednesday, January 27 with funeral services at 12 PM at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
