Dorothy E. Griffith

On January 11, 2011, Dorothy E. Griffith passed away. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late Walter F. Griffith; Loving mother of Francis Joseph Griffith and wife Ginny of Glen Burnie; Cherished grandmother of Bob Wilkes of Glen Burnie, Brenda Taylor and husband Lorn of Severn and Debbie Smith and husband Scott of Glen Burnie; Caring great-grandmother of Scott Smith, Katelyn Sprague and husband Brent, Bethany and Andrew Taylor and Josh and Nick Smith. She was predeceased by her sister Betty, her brothers Jimmy and Francis and her granddaughter Helen Ebert Wilkes.

Dorothy was also known as Dot or Grandma G.  A resident of Glen Burnie since 1958, she enjoyed bingo, playing cards and the occasional slot machine. Dorothy was also a charter member of the Ferndale Community Club.  She worked for Calvert Distillery for 32 years before retiring.
